This session is important before you can join the full course. It will help you understand:

  • Who the course is for
  • What a Mental Health First Aider does

Not everyone can join the course right away. After the session, we will do a simple screening to see if you are ready to take part and be certified. We want to make sure you are well-prepared and know what to expect.

By attending the information session, you’ll be able to:

  • Understand the importance of mental health first aid
  • Learn what you’ll gain from the course
  • Know if you’re ready to take on the role of a Mental Health First Aider

Course Details:

  • Standard Mental Health First Aid Course: 5th and 6th July (In-person)

Why Should You Consider Becoming a Certified Mental Health First Aider?

Have you ever seen someone struggling with their mental health and didn’t know how to help? Maybe a friend seemed down, or a colleague was anxious, and you didn’t know what to say or do. These are common situations, and you are not alone in feeling unsure about how to support them. That’s where becoming a certified Mental Health First Aider can make a real difference. Whether it’s helping an adult with the Standard Mental Health First Aid Course or supporting a teenager with the Adolescent Mental Health First Aid Course, you can gain the knowledge and skills to offer meaningful help.
